Further Information:

Little Moreton Hall is a moated, half-timbered manor house, built for Cheshire landowner William Moreton from around 1504-1508. A Grade 1 listed building, it has three asymmetrical ranges forming a small, rectangular courtyard. It remained in the Moreton family until 1938, when it was transferred to the National Trust. It is also known as Old Moreton Hall. The Elizabethan pageant was part of an Elizabethan Fayre that took place from 17-20 June 1914.
